TIEBELE NIGHTS interprets the beautiful patterns found every where in West Africa….. from decorated homes (inside and out) to decorative clothing and jewelry. THIS IS THE SPRING COLORWAY. SPRING is not in the "traditional" colors of the area, but I developed it at the request of my students and is proving to be many stitchers first choice!
Use multiple textures and weights of silk and cotton plus metallic threads to stitch this four way geometric design. An eye-catching beaded pattern enlivens the four edges of Tiebele Nights. Both solid and open-worked stitched areas complete the design. THREE COLORWAYS ARE AVAILABLE...Original, Earthtones and Spring.
PROFICIENCY LEVEL: Intermediate
GROUND FABRIC: 18 count mono canvas. Edges are taped and design is outlined on the canvas. Copic marker has been added to center and bead areas.
