MEDITERRANEAN SQUARES is a colorful collage of brickwork and tile patterns from the ancient cultures of the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Empires. Thirty three threads of warm reds, blues, greens and golds, in various textures and weights of silk, metallic and cotton, were used to create it. The canvas comes to you with the design already outlined and the edges taped and ready for stitching.
I loved researching the brick and tile patterns used in Italian and Spanish and Middle Eastern gardens and architecture as well as the African basketry and cloth patterns. This is one of my most popular designs!
Design size is 9-3/4" X 9-3/4" with border
Ground Fabric is 18 count eggshell mono canvas, edges taped and design drawn on canvas
Suggested stitching level is Intermediate
